Strategic Plan

What is a Strategic Plan?

An excellent question!  A strategic plan simply refers to a set of goals, academic and attendance based, that a school strives to achieve throughout a school year.   

These goals are chosen by looking at the previous years testing and attendance data.  This process lets the school community assess where we have been, where we are currently, and how we hope to grow each year.  

The following are the strategic plan goals for the WPK8 2025-2026 school year:

  • Goal 1: We will plan to raise mathematical proficiency by 10% from the beginning of the year (BOY) testing data through the end of year (EOY) testing data.

 

  • Goal 2: We will plan to raise our reading proficiency by 10% from the beginning of the year (BOY) testing data through the end of year (EOY) testing data.

 

  • Goal 3: We will plan to maintain an attendance status of 94%.
