WPK8 PE/Gym Requirements

With the refurbishment of the gym floor at WPK8, and other schools throughout the county, it has been recommended that only athletic/tennis shoes be worn on the gym floor in order to preserve its integrity.  It is already listed under PE requirements (found under the Families tab on this site), that students should be prepared with athletic clothing and shoes for class. 

Going forward, the following shoes will not be permitted on the floor during PE class: Crocs, Hey Dudes, Uggs, hard soled shoes, slides, work boots, and anything that isn't defined as an athletic shoe.

There will be alternative placement and game opportunities for those students that do not bring proper footwear for PE class.
